01-29-086-Need to sell a 1949 JB series open cab engine, truck is operational. I purchased it with a LaFrance Continental six cylinder installed, it has an old poor quality red paint job with no rust on the body. It will need brake repair soon, the wheel cylinders leak, the Hydra-Vac was rebuilt a couple years back. Comes with lots of spare parts, lights, extra pump and dash gauge panels, extra steering gear box and steering wheel with horn buttons, extra front and rear axle assemblies with springs. Now the good part; it comes with an operational 900 series V-12 and fuller transmission. I would like to sell this as a complete package first, if it doesn't sell I may sell off individually.

8- For Sale 1927 Seagrave Standard 1000 GPM Pumper and Hose Car. This Seagrave was ordered new by the Royal Oak Fire Department and saw service there until 1969. It was at that time a local business man purchased the rig and donated it to his cottage community of Port Sanilac Michigan. There in Port Sanilac it received its second repaint (the first by the Royal Oak Shop) in 1969. It still wears this paint today and looks great. This truck is in near original delivery condition. It has its original Buckeye Rotoray (first year for it with the can lights), Dietz lanterns, and Seagrave Nozzels. It has Seagrave extinguishers, Seagrave axes, bell, hand crank siren, and a Buckeye Exhaust Whistle. The truck still has only rear brakes as it was when delivered. There is no and has never been any rust on this pumper. This pumper's undercarriage was wipped down once a day with kerosene in order to find any loose nuts/bolts and to clean/preserve the metal while in service. Well it worked. I was told it has never even spent a night out of doors. I have a pretty detailed history of the truck and many old pictures of it.
My son and I took it out
for a ride today (10-18-2007). Please email me or call me at (810) 648-2429.
