The engine is # J2615 and Lititz Fire Company No.1 was the original owner. Peter and Marlene are only the second owners and purchased it directly from the Lititz Fire Company. Seagrave was able to provide Peter with copies of the original proposal, build sheets, and factory pre-delivery photos of the engine (# J2615). The rig is as original as delivered in 1956, and has only 10,500miles.
The rig all loaded up on the rail car and ready to depart to California.
A sad day for the firefighters of Lititz. Firefighters were adorned in the class A's to bid farewell to a fantastic engine.
